1940's

Born December 24th 1942, Wagga Wagga NSW.
Father stationed in Uranquinty as instructor pilot during 2nd World War.
Family moved to Adelaide 1944

1950's

Attended Brighton High School 1955-58, had Art teachers Alby Smith and Leone Langdon Zulf, fellow students included Brian Callen, Judy Sutterby, Bruce Vinall, Barry Goddard and Anne Newmarch.
Regularly rode his bike to locations around Adelaide to Paint including the golf links at Glenelg and Belair in the Adelaide hills.
1959 Won Scholarship to Art School, North Adelaide, to study Commercial Art- common course

1960's

1960 Changed to Fine Art - Painting
1962 completed Diploma of Fine Art - painting
1962 Teaching at Mitchell Park Boys Tech as well as night classes at
SA school of Art
1963 Teaching Norwood boys tech
1963 Exhibition with Brian Callen , Hahndorf Gallery
1963 Group Exhibition with Brain Callen and Judy Sutterby,
Don Pedro Art Gallery
1965 married Janne Siekmann
1967 Moved to Glenalta, Adelaide Hills
1968 Lecturering SA School of Art
1968 First Solo Exhibition, Bonython Art Gallery
1968 SA State Gallery buys painting "Quintessence"

1970's

1970 son Brett born
1970 Exhibition at Bonython Art Gallery
1970 Teaching at Mitchell Park High School
1971 Lecturer South Australain School of Art
1971 son Scott Born
Represented in the Fifth International Young Artists Exhibition
in Tokyo, Japan
1973 Exhibition Royal Society Art Gallery, Adelaide;
Ray Hughes Gallery, Brisbane
1975 Painting purchased by Art Gallery South Australia
1975 directed "Colour, Light, Kinetic Environment" exhibition SA School of Art Gallery, grant from Arts Grants Advisory Commission.
Regularly went on camping trips painting with other artists in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia
1976 Build large studio at home
1978 painting purchased by Artbank
1979 Exhibition at Bonython Art Gallery

1980's

1980 Traveled to Europe on study leave visiting galleries in London, Paris, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Holland and Belguim
1981 Traveled to central Australia
1984 Exhibition Pinacotheca Gallery, Melbourne;
Festival Theatre Foyer, Adelaide
Painting "Whale Rock" bought buy Adelaide High School
1986 Exhibition Anima Gallery, Adelaide

1990's

Traveled To Japan
1990 exhibition at college Gallery, SA School of Art, Underdale
Traveled to the Venice Biannali and then through Europe and USA
1993 First exhibition at Greenaway Art Gallery, Adelaide
1999 Exhibition Greenaway Art Gallery, Adelaide
