The work of the nineties has returned to thoughts about 'Information Technology' and the Australian position in the Asia-Pacific region. The coded information of ancient rituals and beliefs that have traditionally communicated tribal myths and symbols are increasingly less accessible. Methods of collecting, storing and processing information continue to become more sophisticated and the origins of information more esoteric and distanced.
The paintings are multi-layered accumulations of linear-diagrammatic imagery which allow investigation, comparison and connection amongst the density of visual information.
